Some banks are just not set up to allow or accommodate personalized daily limit requests. Some do and some don't. I suspect you can't do it with Fido.
That's what they told me and what I posted-the $10,000 per day limit on purchases can not be changed.
The fact that your-or anyone's-bank worked with them and even covered charges made through an ATM card is great for the card holder. That is not the same thing as having a legal limit on the customer's liability in the event the card is compromised/stolen.There's also a big difference between seeking to have a charge reversed and asking a bank to replace cash drained from a checking account.
As I said upthread, I know how to get my limit reduced-get a new bank.
