Would that be feasible (i carry no bags)? Since it is the last flight to YEG, what would happen if connection is missed?
The OP quoted above mentions WestJet in the AC forum, I should point out the LAS-YYC flight is the arrives at 22:19 in the current summer schedule (this route has a lot of movement in the recent past). No poster need to rise on point of order as the OP is taking the AC flight and this is the appropriate place to talk about AC Ops.
As to the OP question, yes any moderate delay on the LAS-YYC flight will have the poster missing the connection and spending the night in the land of poor hockey team and out of work oilfield workers (it will almost feel like home, but with a view of the mountains during the morning sunrise).
As always, having Nexus card will speed up the CBSA formalities and ensure a smooth connection. Expect about 5-10 minute wait for preboard security because the concourse C security will be down to one lane open at that time of night.
Should the OP get through preboard security in timely basis, the MLL is open for a night cap before the short hop to the land where the hockey career of first round draft picks die a slow, painful, death.
