I do not think the advice is irresponsible as I am not sure you are right. Some Fter with more knowledge will undoubtedly come up with a definitive answer.

The Ready to Fly record would not have been triggered at T5 meaning that the luggage would either not have been loaded at T3 or would have been offloaded early for failure of conformance and the flight would not be delayed.
