Go to the BA website and try to redeem on that specific route. The system should throw up a choice of choosing the Finnair route. That's how I redeemed on Finnair a couple of months back.
If all else should fail, BA Exec club Gold Line/Silver line or whichever line are usually very good at helping you choose your preferred itinerary.
