I bought Maxlite 21" for my grandkids on Ebags for $79 which we have checked a few times and it has held up so far. I think Maxlite is a good product in the Travelpro line but if you travel internationally 5 times a year, it is not as heavy duty as Crew. Previous year's models of Crew can sometimes be found at a pretty good price. My current 25" bag is Eagle Creek Hovercraft bought on close out off Amazon for about $150. No problems in 4 years, similar flight pattern to yours. I like the Eagle Creek large wheels, easy to pull on streets.
