Don't know if this is relevant, but am I correct in saying that if you book a J ticket with BA and are flying within the USA in domestic F, you will get less Avios and TP's than you would on a AA booked flight? I'm sure I read on FT about someone who flew AA Phl-LAX booked J with BA and got 140tps then flew the same route 2 months later..booked with AA J and got 210tps.
