As long as the 'rules' about in- or excluding them aren't debated, they are generally limited to the post itself and a few responses. I think it is in line with the spirit of this thread, as long as they are exceptional and somehow linked to this community.
I.e. if EY had a similar sale exUK to Oz, I would mention it (and I did).
And I think you are doing it just right if I may say ^ While I agree that this is specifically about BAEC primarily, I think that as the concept of a "deal" is relative, posting of particularly relevant deals (either because they are from the UK where most members reside, or because they directly compete with a current OW airline sale mentioned in this thread) is directly relevant in that it allows me (and presumably others) to decide whether the OW deal is worth going for or not.
