If I participate in the US Travel Association offer for buying IHG points, and pay with my Chase IHG card, do I earn 5x points? Or just 1x because the points are sort of through an intermediary and not purchased directly from IHG?

Would IHG points from USTA count towards the annual cap on purchased points?
