Quick question, went thru Beijing yesterday on my way to Bangkok from the states, went to transit immigration and the counter was manned by air China agents and not China immigration. Asked only for onward boarding pass and no question about where I came from. Something new? On the other hand, transit screening was also separated from regular screening this time by glass walls instead of being dumped into the regular line so it only took 15 min from start to finish!
