Just wanted to check my interpretation of the rules for GPU's on a multi-segment itinerary. Example is a ticket with SEA-SFO-SYD; W fare with GPU applied.

If the SEA-SFO clears but the SFO-SYD does not clear, does the GPU get redeposited? Looking at the rules, it looks like the answer would be yes if the BusinessFirst segment (SFO-SYD) doesn't clear, given that the SEA-SFO is domestic First.

Is my interpretation correct here? Don't want to waste a GPU on SEA-SFO is the overseas segment doesn't clear.
