Waste management company which handles collecting garbage in the city of Kyoto has found 23,000,000 yen of cash (US$ 210,662 or £185 410) all in 10000 yen bills. According to the waste management company, cash should have been picked up on either April 7 or April 8 somewhere in the city of Kyoto.

If you happened to be at Kyoto on April 7 or April 8 then you may want to check your wallet to see if you are missing some cash. The waste management company has reported this to the police and according to Japanese law if nobody make a claim to this cash by July 14 then the finder will have a right to this cash, in this case the waste management company not an employee who found cash.
