If there are only 1 or 2 stands available at T5A when the aircraft landed and there were other flights that had more people with tight connections that they could make then it makes sense to put these other flights to the terminal if the CPH delay meant that most people had missed their connections already.
Or if other aircraft that were arriving had a very short turnaround, so putting them on a stand with direct access to the terminal helps reduce the risk of onward delay and helps those on the arriving flight make their connections. There are lots of other reasons as to why you parked on a remote stand.
It is most likely that the plan for that aircraft was to arrive at a stand with access to the terminal but the delay changed all of this. Decisions like this are made so as to cause to disruption to the smallest number of customers, not the most.
An inconvenience, yes. Worthy of a complaint, (in my opinion) no.
