The conference is free to attend and the accommodation is also complimentary... So I guess it will just have been set up n the most efficient way for the organisers. We had to go via The Hilton website to book individually (but I guess this could be an easy way for them to get billing details if we didn't turn up/cancelled last minute) and rooms were cancellable up to a week before.... Will most likely charge something to the room on any event, and then will just have to keep my fingers crossed for something to show up!
