SV
does not participate in the Skyteam upgrade programme so you cannot use Flying Blue miles to upgrade .
Even if you could, I doubt your fare class would have been eligible. You state you were in a 75% earning class - in the Skyteam upgrade programme you need to be in full-fare economy earning 100% and even then it may be reserved solely for the top 1 or 2 fare classes.
There are also usually time limits for requesting mileage upgrades. You should have enquired long before the date of departure.
that really sucks as a full member of skyteam i expected a bit more from SV integration into FB.
Like in delta when you are AF Plat they will automatically switch you to premium economy.
I don't know SV upgrade policy, but with KLM when i do Europe - Asia i always get the cheapest eco ticket (25%) and i'm offered an upgrade for business in 50% of the cases either at checkin or right before take off a FA comes to me with her iPad and reminds me that i have more than half a million miles to use and that as a platinum she can move me to J for 40K miles.

not to Flying Blue . Had you used an Alfursan account you would have earned 75%. You should always check the
relevant partner page on the Flying Blue website to determine earning in FB. The programmes are all different so earning 75% in Alfursan does not automatically mean Flying Blue will give 75% too.
I read that but the disturing facts are that :
at no time during the booking procedure, SV site mentions the letter corresponding to the far. even on my e ticket , there is no such information.
In addition, when i created my profile on SV i imputed my FB # and it detected that i was elite plus.
as the system knows that i am on FB program , it's quite misleading that it offers me to pay more to earn more miles that i will never get.
as a rather frequent flyer and got confused, so i can only imagine how less experienced flyer will feel about that.
