I can't see anything in the Avios & Money or GUF terrms which specifically exclude applying a GUF to an Avios & Money booking. I have a GUF on my account so I may do some experimenting to see whether it lets me do it,

EDIT: yes, so straight reward quite brought up the Avios & Money options whereas the quote for the same flights using a GUF for the same didn't list any Avios & Money options. Wonder if this is a BA.com limitation and it is possible on the phone, or it is simply not allowed.
