Way, way too risky on separate tickets. You get to DUB at 08:10 on the timetable, your bags may only appear at say 08:40, by the time you get up to departures in the other terminal you would be close to departure time. Today, with no particular issues with weather (etc) the service was 10 minutes late, and you would almost certainly have missed your flight. Even HBO is too risky on this timescale. Aer Lingus' check-in deadline is 45 minutes, and there are often queues in T2.

Either go the night before, or go HBO and back to back, or leave a huge gap between flights with multiple alternative options to get to DUB if there are irrops. If going the night before and using Aer Lingus then you can also check the bags in the night before too, for early departures.
