Would welcome any views fellow flyertalkers have on BA's Travel Insurance - particularly how they find it in comparison to other insurers and any claims experiences. I have had an annual policy with PPP, linked to my Private Health Insurance, for 17 years and have never once had to claim. However, although the premium is separate to the annual health insurance premium it has increased horrendously in each of the past 4 years to the extent that the recent quote I have from BA's provider is only 35% of the premium PPP wish to charge. The only major difference I see between the policies is that PPP does not require disclosure of any medical or health issue and all that is required is that one is medically fit to travel. BA have the same condition but also require any known medical conditions to be disclosed prior to travel with their premium being adjusted accordingly.
