As you have shown, it is possible to upgrade with miles on SV - but only using miles from SV's own programme Alfursan (which is the information presented in the link you provided).

SV does not participate in the Skyteam upgrade programme so you cannot use Flying Blue miles to upgrade .

Even if you could, I doubt your fare class would have been eligible. You state you were in a 75% earning class - in the Skyteam upgrade programme you need to be in full-fare economy earning 100% and even then it may be reserved solely for the top 1 or 2 fare classes.

There are also usually time limits for requesting mileage upgrades. You should have enquired long before the date of departure.

All references to miles on the SV website refer to their own programme - not to Flying Blue . Had you used an Alfursan account you would have earned 75%. You should always check the relevant partner page on the Flying Blue website to determine earning in FB. The programmes are all different so earning 75% in Alfursan does not automatically mean Flying Blue will give 75% too.
