Like the title says, what are the differences in overhead bin space between Delta's (or regional carriers operating on behalf of Delta) new 717-200s vs the old CRJ900s?, especially in First?

I've flown a couple of times on the 717-200... a nicer plane I think, but maybe because it is newer... but I can't remember if the overhead bin space is larger or not. First class is a 2+2 seat arrangement across the aisle, as opposed the the CRJ's and Embraer's 1+2 configuration. I would think that this seat configuration change also changes the overhead bin space volume, but am not sure.

Anyone know? (Or know where/how I can find out?)
