This never used to bother me until one time in CW pre-take off, the cabin attendant gave a personal welcome to the passenger sitting next to me saying things like "we want to thank you for spending lots of money with us" and "it's great to have you on board again". It made me tighten my wallet a bit after that when it comes to BA.
