I would be irate, what is the point of having rate that is specifically called Diamond Guarantee if you get kicked out of it.
I am using one of these for the first time for a late Oct stay in Aracadia/Monrovia for Breeders Cup and I keep checking my reservation ever so often to make sure there aren't any shennigans because a while back when I was Gold this particular hotel decided to pull that sort of thing on a regular AAA rate.
