My dad is retired BA staff, we looked at the rules of travel, and even if he added me onto his list, I would not be allowed to travel on my own using his annual club world ticket (he doesn't like flying so hasn't used a single ticket in the 30+ years he worked there). Because of this I've just booked a hotline discount ticket instead.
I travel without my friend. I'm not sure why you can't but is it because your Dad has retired? I think they changed some rules for retired staff more recently.
