It tracks your booking and notifies you of any changes. It works on Amadeus. It does not track AA bookings, but think you would have been fine in this case as the booking is with BA.
Tripit does the aa bookings and ba bookings i believe (email any booking and hotel bookings to the tripit email) and myflights reconciles with it incl seeing the aa bookings as it pulls from tripit. Turn it on in myflights settings once you have tripit.
