Cannot help you with your query regarding getting it changed to book into F on the A321t but can recommend you look at the myflights app. Currently available on iPhone and on the web at www.myflightsapp.com

It tracks your booking and notifies you of any changes. It works on Amadeus. It does not track AA bookings, but think you would have been fine in this case as the booking is with BA.
