I searched other threads and saw people say 24-48 hours. I also asked Delta on Twitter and was told 24 hours. I was wondering if it is actually faster in reality. I was hoping some seasoned DL pax would have the answer

Last night my dad burned a pile of SkyMiles he has been sitting on to book me a RT biz class ticket to London this summer for Wimbledon using the current 105k sale. I just noticed there are better dates available today so we were thinking about canceling last night's ticket (still well within the 24 hours) and booking a new ticket with the better dates.

However, I don't want to miss out on availability while waiting for his SkyMiles to redeposit, assuming it does take the full 24 hours. My dad doesn't have any status and the ticket was booked with my name as the passenger. Would that complicate the redeposit at all? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
