Just discovered my 40K Frontier bonus miles
will expire 4/20 instead of 10/20;
(never flown Frontier, got via cc sign-up, $500 spend)

So am (hopefully) reserving (2) 2x10K trips
out of MIA, e.g., MIA-LGA.
Maybe MIA-AustinTX, too, if offered at 20K rt...?

Is $15 redemption fee regardless of how soon travel-to-redeem?
What is furthest out I can reserve award trip -- is it 10/2016?

Is it correct that cheapest way to extend
expiration date beyond 4/20 would be to
purchase 1K miles online for $29??

Is there trick to changing award reservations
to later date free or real cheap??

Any related advice appreciated by this newbie!!
