Though sadly for every 'cute anecdote' there are probably a handful of untold stories of 'ugh, i was on a flight XXX->YYY and the FA/passenger next to me creepily hit on my for hours, despite me trying to make it clear i wasnt interested.

My anecdote - on an AA flight JFK->SFO back in 2008 i was sitting in Y in the bulkhead of a 757 (where there are two seats instead of the normal three) next to a moderately attractive woman around my age. Her from SF, me from NYC. The male FA kept telling us how we'd make such a cute couple and once we were airborne kept offering us free champagne and upon deplaning we all exchanged info and asked us to send him an invite to the wedding.

We met up a few nights later for a drink which didn't really lead to anything. 2 weeks later I get an email from the FA telling me I was foolish for letting this woman go.
