Something to pass on and talk up here on the FT forum !
Hey MAC would it be too troublesome for you to have signage in prime areas
of the airport that the Skyway check point is open or closed.
A simple marquee stating "IT'S OPEN OR CLOSED" !
Ya you Betcha ! I bet that would be just too simple to comprehend !
It has been a blessing if arriving by bus or light rail or parking in the outer
reaches of the parking lot to check any check in bags at the Delta 'basement'
Check In and then proceed to the Skyway check point
avoiding the horrendous TSA diabolic insidious jams at both north and south
TSA points.
This only works for high number G gates i.e. 12 or higher and C gates 8 or
higher and all of the A & B gates.
The worst penalty zone would be arriving on the end of the B and not being
able to exit till the down escalators above the baggage claim areas.
