OK, I can now answer my own question.
Hands down the QF F Lounge. The options of made to order egg dishes, and Croque Monsieur was so much nicer than anything available at the AA FL.
Add to that proper table service with multiple champagne choices, and you'll be hard pressed to have an excuse not to choose the QF lounge over the AA one.
We went to the AA FL after the QF lounge, as our flight departed from T-4, and were truly let down. Went to get some champagne, and as the bottle in the bucket was near empty, I went to get a new one from the chiller. In front of multiple members of staff, including one that seemed to be a supervisor, they just let me open the bottle by myself.
To make it even worse, for the remaining 10 minutes we were there, no one even bothered to remove the empty bottle from the counter where I had disposed it... Not trying to be too fancy pansy, but the service level was so juxtaposed compared to the QF lounge.
