At least once I did this: park illegally, print boarding pass, move car and hunt for space, race to TSA elite security at the main terminal and then race to gate.
I got fed up with the crew or other personnel, budging. It was a while back (before TSA pre was even around) I had a at least a 30 minute wait with only 5 pax in front of me. That was what forced me to give up on the Skyway Checkpoint. For a long time I used it for leaving the airport, but the exit hours got cut, and it became to unreliable for me to take the chance on it a while back as well.
