I might suggest follow-up lessons on geography and history. Turkey straddles Europe and Asia - both geographically and historically.

And of course TK is considered a European airline. It has the "Best European Airline" awards to prove it. Not to mention that Aeroplan puts Turkey in the "Europe 2" region. Aeroplan Award Chart.

The gratuitous comment about TK's safety record is completely unfounded. It makes the Top 60 list, in the same range as KE and SK.
