Right, after much deliberation I'm finally ready to book something. More of a holiday than a TP run, but 460 TPs for £787 sounds reasonable: ORD-SJU-DFW-MSY-CLT-JFK with stopovers in SJU and MSY, all on AA.
The question is, what's the most efficient way of booking it on a UK credit card? I remember seeing somewhere on FT that you can pretend it's a US card to avoid a dodgy exchange rate, but now can't find the details of how to do it...
Hopefully some of you have more experience of booking domestic US itineraries than me! Any tips?
I've had success in using a UK card by squeezing all of my UK address into the first couple of lines of the address box and then putting a real US town (and perhaps State - can't remember if that's required or not) and ZIP Code for that town in the appropriate boxes.
