Today I get an email from Air Canada with the new promotions. It shows
YQR-EZE-YQR at $1162.
When I go check the flights, it was a struggle to find almost any flights at that price; most were $1700+. After a while of prodding, I was able to find a couple weeks (within the four months in which departures for the promotion are valid) where the announced fare exists.
Why does AC do this? Does it make sense for them to say "we have these cheap flights" even though it is basically a lie? Why include a month in the promotion in which the fare is never available?
