My collection year runs out next month. I'm currently Gold but will be soft-landed to Silver, I presume. I will have over 600 TPs at that point, but 2 qualifying flights short. Is there any reason or benefit to arrange those two flights before the end of collection year so that Silver status is renewed by TPs as opposed to soft-landing? Can't think of any, but there might be some subtleties I'm missing.
