Well, I think you are talking of Civita di Bagnoregio, corresponding mostly at your description, and the only one accessible by a brigde. but it is not visible from the highway (10miles): Otherwise I cannot figure out of which village are you talking about..Orte, Baschi? But they are not too little, and I cannot recall any bridge...
