Toscana itinerary sugestions?
PLanning a trip to Toscana for October. I'm meeting my girlfriend and some friends in Florence on the 22nd - but the days prior from the 19th are on my own. Any suggestions for a taste of Toscana ending in Florence? I am flexible with starting points, flying into Rome is preferred, but I can swing Milan as well.

All thought will be appreciated.
