If your friend is not picking up at the airport, take a taxi or a limo service like a Frequent Flyer recommended.
From Naples Airport to Caserta is 20 miles (in almost the the opposite direction). To Positano it is 35 miles.
BTW,
Battipaglia is SE(!) of Salerno, 49 miles away from Naples airport and 39 miles from Positano.
Or stay one night in Napoli and take a boat to the Amalfi Coast .. that is a real nice journey. Watch out, in Naples are two places from where the boats are going.
