Quick update just boarded the AA flight to LAX. HNL security wad an absolute zoo, luckily they diverted about 20 of us into the TSA line. AA did not recognise my Oneworld sapphire status, even though my BA account has changed to sliver. The agent states that as the change happened in the last few days thier system has not been updated yet, so they still had me as ruby. An offer to show them the BA app with my status was politely declined by the check in agent.

Also my routing is
HNL LAX PHL LHR DUB
Arriving at PHL at 0600hrs. The departing flight with BA in club world leaves at 1800. My checked bag has only been sent to PHL, I'll have to collect and go through security again. Could it have been sent all the way to DUB? I presume even in bussiness class i cant check in at 0600hr for a flight 12 hours later. I had hoped if it had been checked all the way i could have used flight connections and go straight into a lounge. Albeit spending nearly 12 hours there!!!!
Any advice from those that have gone through PHL before?

On a more positive note Hawaii was fantastic, I will come back probably when there is another ex-DUB sale! Ill write a more in depth trip report when im not sitting on a plane. Also when i checked my bag the agent asked if i knew the gentleman who checked in before me. I said no. She then told me he was going to DUB as well, and was taking the same three flights as me between HNL LAX PHL and LHR. There was a queue behind me so I didnt explain flyertalk or a tier pont run to her!
