They are malicious there. They love to send people to secondary just for the fun of it or when they are jealous of your itinerary. They are a poor reflection of Canada to visitors to our country. I've even seen them send a bunch of Japanese FAs into secondary all at once and those FAs were so lost as to what's going on. I've seen them gave a 80+ yrs old woman who speaks no English such a hard time she was sitting there crying and the secondary agent told her to shut up. The YVR customs agents love to dictate what type of itinerary you could do, otherwise they would send you to secondary. True abuse of power. They use this 'guilty until proven' theory when you come home or visit.

YYZ & YUL on the other hand have more senior agents who are way more professional.
