To clarify, there are two highways between Geneva and Lyon.

If one follows the 'Lyon' signs from Geneva, the new A40 puts Lyon about 1:30 away.

Going through the older A41 (follow the Annecy-Chambéry-Grenoble signs) will take an extra hour.


And I agree food in Lyon is great! The locals are justifiably very proud of their culinary prowess
