A friend told me that India is a very dirty country And he regretted wearing sandals when over there.

There were dead bodies and animals on their "holy" river!!!!

If they made me walk on their airport floors, I would have to throw away my socks ASAP!

In my experience, they made all US bound passengers take off the shoes with extra security at the gateway to take liquids, even if bought post security....and this was on a Korean carrier (Asiana).

They were at least nice about it and gave me sandals so my socks do not get dirty....very nice of them, since stepping barefoot and socks without shoes outside your home is considered dirty!
