Hi there!

I have about 14k on Turkish, goal is gold on Star Alliance (mainly due to location and preferred airports/airlines). However I have the chance to fly Iberia Business (not sure if reduced or normal) from ZRH - MEX via MAD. What's my best bet in terms of collecting these miles (and traveling a few more on oneworld) to match the status to Star Alliance?

Or asked differently:

1. What's the best program to get Sapphire (should be equiv to Gold) on oneworld?

I'm thinking AA or BA, but I could be wrong.

2. Is there an airline on Star Alliance that matches Sapphire to Gold?
