I really don't think this was a personal decision by mr Vauramo nor that he would be considered the most hated person in Finland. Frankly, I see this kind of thinking rather naive, to demonize someone based on corporate decisions.
Finnair is not the largest airline in the world.
The decision to store/retire two Airbus A340-300 planes (OH-LQF and OH-LQG) late last year must have passed the desk of Mr. Pekka Vauramo.
If Mr. Vauramo is so naive not to know that new plane type breaks very often, he is at the wrong place as CEO of Finnair.
