Don't know about the tech & crew costs, but most certainly it's not "nothing" to accommodate & feed let's say 90% of widebody passengers who are connecting or not from HEL.
The majority of these misconnected pax will accept to be rebooked onto a later AY flight.
In that case AY looses no hard money.
