Oddly enough this was a loophole in travel insurance

If the entire bag was lost/delayed/stolen/damaged I could file a claim, if items were stolen from hotel room or I purchased the missing items in the last 90 days I could file a claim, but because only some items were taken from the bag, but it arrived undamaged and on-time, I have no claim for the missing contents. The insurance agent said she was not aware of any product that would cover partial theft.
