We're thinking about a holiday in Croatia this summer. 2 adults and an active 5 year old.

Thta means that ideally we would have a beach for him, some organised child activities, a bit of history, culture and food for us.

Is that feasible?

We'll either fly into Venice and hire a car or stick our own car on the Bologna Autorail. Are there any problems with taking one's own car, it's a top of the range new 7 series BMW?
