Don't know about the tech & crew costs, but most certainly it's not "nothing" to accommodate & feed let's say 90% of widebody passengers who are connecting or not from HEL.
Of course when you add the 600€/pp to that it's a different story.
When it comes to the fact that AY seems to be a bit friendly nowadays with these, my guess is that it's more because of Mr. Timo Nurminen & KKO rather than Airbus & warranty
