The CDP you're using overrides the age limit online but they will downgrade you in person, due to a timing error I was bumped from an economy car to a Mercedes SL550, but they then downgraded me to a Mustang since I'm not 25 (I think it may be an insurance issue). Unlike you I few into Vegas and then drove to the Grand Canyon. Using the corporate CDP you will be asked to show a corporate ID and state your company name.
So you may have issues. You may be able to book in advanced print out the paperwork and tell them you're in a rush and they will simply price match it- but no promises. It's getting harder and harder to wave the underage fee.
Thanks I ended up renting a guaranteed Mustang convertible (V6) not part of the Adrenalin collection so as to avoid issues with the being over 25 thing for Adrenalin cars.
I do have an ID badge for the place I work at and I guess I will bring it and show it if I must. If that will work. I guess I can say that someone in HR told me the code.
I also prepaid because it was literally almost half as much as what they wanted otherwise. It was like $600 vs $340.
I really hope they dont give me much hassle about adding my 20 year old brother. God damn I hate these ageist rental policy's. If one has insurance, what the hell does it matter?
