BQ3. Well, it appears one would have had to head across the Channel from your location to the republic of France......

I believe the three French air carriers were:

* Air France with the Boeing 707 and the Caravelle

* Transports Aeriens Intercontinentaux (TAI) with the DC-8

* Union Aeromaritime de Transport (UAT) also with the DC-8

I also think TAI and UAT got together a couple of years later to form UTA.
