I get a "better" priority check-in line at some airports. I get meal priority. I get priority standby. And when problems arise, I can call the concierge.
In Y, your status gets you the above, plus:
- Priority check-in
- Lounge access
- Priority boarding
- Upgrades
- Free seat selection on North American Tango
- Free preferred seats on all fares on all markets
- Free checked bags
- Priority security clearance (at most AC airports)
- Priority baggage handling
- LHR arrival lounge access
So no, I think they've done enough for the SEs in Y, and should focus more on the SEs in J.
